GREETINGS AND WELCOME:
Welcome to Studio Fifty Five, LLC. Launched as little more than a dream in 2008, the studio has become home to two artists who specialize in wood turned art. The physical structure was built in 1947 as a milk-processing plant for a dairy farm and, in years past, included an ice cream bar for folks in town. Since then, the commercial property has become home to a variety of businesses, but more recently it has been transformed into a residential home with an attached wood turning studio in the back. In the future, a gallery will be designed to showcase wood turned art created on the premises.
In addition to the artistic work that is turned in the on site, Studio Fifty-five, LLC offers specialized instructional classes for people with all levels of turning skills. Classes are designed around students’ interests and individualized needs and time frames are extremely flexible. For more information on classes, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hope you enjoy looking at the pieces pictured on this site. Please visit often to find information about special events, including open studios and times when people may watch the process of pieces being created.
You may also check the creative work of Clete Boothby, one of the artists at this studio, at his own website, “One Wood Piece At A Time.”
Thank you for visiting!
